Personal statement

Dr. Batuhan Aktas is a Research Fellow in the Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering Department at the University of Strathclyde. His research interest covers various marine-related subjects including ship performance monitoring, vessel energy management, propeller cavitation induced noise and propeller performance assessment, cavitation erosion and seakeeping. He has been the key researcher in several research projects in U.K. In the last four years, he has published 20 peer-reviewed journal papers and 30 international conference papers. He has co-edited and organized 35international conferences for Advanced Maritime Measurement Technology.
